Prasanna Kumar, Wife Arrested In Tenant’s Suicide Case

Sujatha wrote on wall all over the house stating the owners humiliated her and they are responsible for her suicide.
Hyderabad: Kukatpally police on Tuesday arrested Prasanna Kumar Reddy and his wife Snehalatha, the owners of the house in which their tenant committed suicide after charging them of harassment. Sujatha committed suicide by hanging herself on Monday after writing on the walls that the house owners - husband and wife - were responsible for her death as they attacked her when her husband was away on Sunday.
Prasanna Kumar and his wife were absconding after learning about the suicide, but Kukatpally police nabbed them and produced them in the court after filing a case under section 306 IPC. The couple was sent to judicial custody.
Sujatha and Ramakrishna couple belonging to Palakollu in West Godavari had been staying in the house of Prasanna Kumar in Medical Society in Srinivasa Nagar Colony under Kukatpally limits for the past two years. They have a three-and-a-half-year-old son and one-and-a-half-year-old daughter.
