Prakash Raj Stages Sit-in Protest With Tamil Farmers In Delhi
New Delhi: Tamil actors Vishal and Prakash Raj came out in support of protesting farmers at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Friday. The farmers have been on an indefinite strike for the past few days in Delhi adorning skulls around their necks.
The two actors dressed in black interacted with the farmers and raised slogans along with them. Prakash Raj said that the reason for them to join their protest is to make their voice get heard louder by the Centre. The protesting farmers have loan dues from Rs5 lakh to Rs25 lakh and said that without waiver they can't even live.

The movement is being spearheaded by P. Ayyakannu. They landed in Delhi on March 14 and tried to stage protest in front of Prime Minister’s residence. However, their protests were disrupted by the police and were moved to Jantar Mantar and from there they have been continuing their protest.
In line with Jallikattu, Tamil youths have come together through social media and are reaching out help for the protesting farmers.
