Praja Chaitanya Yatra Of Telangana Cong All Set To Roll From Monday

Hyderabad: The Telangana Congress is all set to roll out their Praja Chaitanya Yatra at 1:00 pm from Chevella, on Monday.

Prior to the yatra, an all religious prayer meeting will be held followed by special prayers in Nampally Dargha, Aremaisamma temple and Moinabad church. In the first phase, the yatra will cover six assembly constituencies in Medak and Ranga Reddy districts over three days. In this regard, Pradesh Congress Committee president Uttam Kumar Reddy held a Facebook live session with the party cadre and supporters, on Saturday. He explained the need to conduct the bus yatra to them during the session. The live meeting, on Saturday, was well received by Congressmen from Kazipet, Jadcherla, Kamareddy, Narayankhed and Hyderabad, party sources said.

Meanwhile, the yatra bus itself was renovated with Congress motifs and pictures of Congress president Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and PCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy besides scores of other state leaders. The PCC formed several committees including advisory, coordination, finance and media for the seamless conduct of the programme.
