Prabhakar Reddy to be TRS candidate for Medak LS seat

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao finally zeroed in Kotha Prabhakar Reddy as his party's MP candidate for Medak Lok Sabha constituency.

After hour-long meetings with his close aides, including Harish Rao and Etela Rajender, KCR decided on Prabhakar Reddy's candidature.
Prabhakar Reddy, who is a transport baron, is likely to file nomination around 9 am tomorrow.
The seat fell vacant due to the resignation of KCR, who won the seat with a record margin of 3.7 lakh votes over BJP candidate Narendranath.
T employees leader Devi Prasad's name too did rounds, but the party chief finally decided on Reddy's candidature. Medak was represented by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi from 1980 to 1984.
