Power tariff hike: CPI to intensify agitation

CPI state secretary, K Narayana  on Tuesday announced that his party would intensify the agitational programmes to protest against the power tariff hikes and irregular power cuts. 

Talking to media in Hyderabad, Narayana said that he would go on a hunger strike from March 23 at Indira park. The weakness of opposition parties is protecting the Congress party, he alleged.

The CPI state secretary is expected to launch campaigning programmes between March 25 and 31 to create awareness about people's problems. TDP has only number, but we have political strength, said Narayana.
