Power generation renewed in thermal plants

Power generation restored at Kothagudem and Ibrahimpatnam thermal power stations after technical snags on Friday.

Following a technical snag at 11th unit of Kothagudem thermal power plant, power generation of 550 MW was stalled. Similarly, a technical snag reported in the 7th unit crippled the power generation of 500 MW at Ibrahimpatnam thermal plant. The officials said the technical problem have been rectified and the power generation was normal in both the plants.
