Former TRS MLA Babu Mohan To Join BJP

Hyderabad: Actor turned politician and former TRS MLA from Andole, Babu Mohan, is all set to join the BJP. Babu Mohan had wrested the seat from Congress heavyweight, C. Damodar Rajanarsimha in a closely fought election in 2014 from the reserved constituency.

This time around, the TRS leadership decided to field journalist, Kranthi Kiran from Andole, glossing over Babu Mohan's claims. A disappointed Babu Mohan is reported to have decided to join the BJP. He is said to have headed to Delhi along Telangana BJP president Dr. K. Laxman. Babu Mohan is likely to meet party president, Amit Shah. He will be the BJP candidate from Andole, in all likelihood.
