Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh  - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: An advocate, activist and former judge has filed a Public Interest Litigation(PIL) in the state High Court against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu and his minister-son, Nara Lokesh, accusing them of misuse of offical position to divert crores of taxpayers' money and has demanded a thorough investigation, according to media reports. The petitioner, J. Sravan Kumar has alleged that precious land was alienated and given away to shell companies, among others for pure personal gain.

The petitioner has sought a comprehensive court-monitored probe by an SIT comprising CBI, ED, IB abd other agencies into the activities of CM Chandrababu Naidu, his son, IT minister, Nara Lokesh and others. The petitioner, Sravan Kumar has alleged that fake figures have been put out on the official government website. The chief minister and his son, the respondents have been portraying Andhra Pradesh as a state where lakhs of jobs have been created and that another respondent, the AP Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRT) and its CEO Vemuri Ravi Kumar had created shell companies with fake names and addresses.

According to the PIL the AP government had inserted a clause in GO 13 dated August 11, 2014 which states that all companies set up under the IT policy will be exempted from scrutiny and inspection of government authority.

The AP government officials make claims of giving jobs to 33 lakh jobless, whereas neither the government nor the private sector provided as many as even 50,000 jobs, according to the petitioner.

Media reports also state that the AP state principal secretaries of GAD and IT and Communications department have also been named as respondents in the matter. The case is likely to come up for hearing today or Wednesday.
