I Don’t Trust Chandrababu On His Promises: TDP MP JC Diwakar Reddy
Kurnool: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP JC Diwakar Reddy said that there was no need for party Chief and Andhra Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu to explain the state of affairs to people by holding meetings in the name of 'Dharma Porata Deeksha'.
The MP's comments came in as a shock to Chandrababu, who, along with other ministers, felt embarassed at the time. Chandrababu was accompanied by Rajya Sabha MP Sujana Chowdhary and Minister TG Venkatesh among other TDP leaders at the Dharma Porata Deeksha meeting here today.
Here's what JC Diwakar Reddy said to Chandrababu at the meeting today. "Sir, I am sure that I will not be given a ministerial berth this term. In fact I want to resign from politics. I do not want to contest Assembly but I will remain an MP. I cannot expect anything from you," he said, adding that he wanted to bring to the notice of the public.
The TDP MP felt that some of the leaders in the party were misleading Chandrababu on various issues. I do not expect anything from the party, but, I am not ready for this, he asserted.
"There is no need for Dharma Porata Deeksha to explain to the public. Please stop this," he requested Chandrababu.Diwakar Reddy clarified that there was no need for him to travel all the way from Anantapur to attend the meeting.
