TDP No Trust Vote Laced With Venom, Lies: BJP

Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party national general secretary Ram Madhav today exposed Telugu Desam Party's (TDP) double standards with respect to its stance on the Special Category Status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh. The BJP leader, in his latest tweet, quoted a newspaper headline from September 2016, which said "Thank you Modiji!," for helping the state with a special assistance package. The newspaper clipping indicated that Chandrababu had a conversation over phone with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the ocassion of the Centre's decision to provide a special package to Andhra Pradesh.

Chandrababu thanked the PM and expressed confidence over the completion of Polavaram project. "14 September 2016 headlines of a leading Telugu daily: “THANK YOU MODIJI” - ‘CM Chandrababu Calls PM; Thanks Him for Special Package’: And now a NCM with full of venom n lies. That is typical of Chandrababu Naidu," Ram Madhav's tweet read.
