TDP Staging Drama On Kadapa Steel Plant: Bhumana

YSR Congress Party leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy - Sakshi Post

Senior YSR Congress Party leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy ridiculed the ruling Telugu Desam party for staging a prolonged drama on the Kadapa steel plant issue. He compared the ruling party to the theatre company of yesteryears Surabhi.

The senior YSRCP leader wondered as to what the Telugu Desam party had been doing all these years as an ally of the BJP especially since the steel plant at Kadapa had been built into the AP State Reorganization Act. It is only now, rattled by the growing popularity of YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who had been waging a relentless struggle for the Kadapa steel plant, that the TDP has been talking of the issue. The TDP demanding the setting up of a steel plant at Kadapa is like a murderer seeking compensation for his victims.

Bhumana remarked that Chandrababu Naidu's so-called 'Dharma Poratam' was nothing but a part of his diversionary tactics. The senior party leader said that Chandrababu Naidu's so-called fight against the Centre for a railway zone at Vizag, was a part of his drama. Bhumana wondered why the TDP manifesto was nowhere to be found. It had been taken off the party's website too, he said wondering why any political party would choose to hide its own commitments! Chandrababu's voice in the audio clip relating to Notes for Votes case can be accessed, but nowhere are any audio-video clips relating to his promises to the people of state to be found, Bhumana said.

The senior opposition leader said that YSRCP was ready for a comprehensive debate on all issues including the rampant corruption under TDP. He described the TDP as party of looters and robbers of public wealth.
