Politics being played in the name of capital

Dirty politics has raised its ugly head soon after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. Leaders from Seemandhra are using this opportunity to try get a capital chosen from their particular region.  

Many politicians are demanding the new capital for Seemandhra state to be built in their respective areas only. They are simply neglecting the statement of Union Minister Jairam Ramesh that the capital would be decided only in a scientific manner after a thorough study is done in the mater.

Union Minister Kishore Chandra Deo, who never appeared in Seemandhra region when the ‘Samaikyandhra’ agitations were going on, is demanding the new capital to be built at Visakhapatnam only.

As the city of Vijayawada is at a centre point between Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema, the minister Partha Saradhi is demanding the capital to be built at this politically sensitive city only.

Another Union Minister Pallam Raju is demanding the capital to be built at Kakinada, which city is located at one corner away from the main railway line of Chennai and Howrah.

Other senior Congress leaders Chinta Mohan and T.G.Venkatesh are demanding the capital to be built in their respective areas like Tirupati and Kurnool.
