Political spot fixing between the Centre and the TDP

The curtain has risen on another scene, in the match fixing between the Congress and  the TDP.

The TDP President  created  a  ruckus, over  the Govt  not suspending  the ministers  facing allegations, after he came back from Delhi. It is suspected that, the whole exercise is to divert the attention of the people ,from failure in the implementation of welfare programs, and the steep rise in Electricity charges.

Chandra Babu Naidu lost credibility, ever since the covert support he has been giving to the Congress, with the result many stalwarts from the TDP are leaving the party. TDP along with the Congress is facing severe hostility from the people.

It is rumored that the High Command at Delhi, is toying with the idea of going in for early elections , in November or December  this year. The ruling Congress , as well as TDP , are worried that in the present situation,  if they go in for polls, both the parties might get, wiped out. As one  senior leader put it the High Command knows that Andhra Pradesh is a key state and will play a vital part in the General Elections, but if the anti - establishment sentiment  is strong in the state  It will do a lot of damage in the General Elections. Hence  the Congress and TDP cooked up a new drama to divert the attention of the people from their dissatisfaction with the Govt’s failure to implement the welfare schemes , and the steep rise in  the electricity tariff.

After being silent for almost a year and a half, the TDP chief is crying hoarse over the tainted ministers, not being sent out from the cabinet. Wisdom seemed to have dawned on Chandra  Babu  Naidu only after he came back from Delhi .

CBI found fault with 26 GOS passed in August 2012 and the  Supreme Court issued notices to some ministers in the cabinet.  This became a hot topic for discussions among people from all sectors for almost a year and a half  but Chandra  Babu Naidu maintained silence over it ,all these days. All of a sudden, four days ago, he met the Governor on this issue and gave a memorandum , demanding that these ministers  should be sent out of the cabinet.  He said he will meet the President on this issue and start a movement if nothing is done .

His own party members are surprised at this sudden decision made by their President, to take up the issue of  the Supreme Court’s notices, given to the ministers. There is a talk that he is being directed by the High Command at the Centre. Chandra Babu Naidu went to Delhi on the 7th and 8th of this month. He went again on the 10th and as soon as he came back he met the Governor on the 13th and submitted the demand for the removal of the ministers

It is a strange coincidence that Chandra Babu Naidu is making the demand for the removal of the ministers, after he came back from Delhi where he attended the ceremony of the unveiling of Sri NTR’s statue in the parliament.   There was a talk that he held secret talks with an important central leader and immediately after his arrival from Delhi he started  demanding that the ministers be removed from the cabinet. There are many issues  staring in the face like the problems being faced by the farmers , students ,and women in the state. But the TDP leader did not seem to have considered any them important enough ,to meet the Governor and submit a memorandum on their behalf.
