Political Punch Admin Ravikiran Arrested in Vizag 

Vizag: Facebook page Political Punch admin Ravikiran Inturi who was apprehended by Thulluru police from Hyderabad last week has been arrested again in Vizag on charges of atrocities against SC, STs on Tuesday.

Earlier, Social media activist and administrator of the Facebook page Political Punch Ravikiran Inturi was picked up from him home at midnight by the AP police and was released after a 27-hour-long interrogation.

This time around, Ravikiran was arrested in Vizag on a complaint lodged by Payakaraopet TDP MLA Vangalapudi Anitha stating that the political satirist posted objectionable content against her. As Anitha belongs to SC community, the case was booked under SC, ST Atrocities Act.

Anitha in her complaint alleged that a picture posted on Political Punch was insulting to her.

Speaking to media before his arrest, Ravikiran said he never posted any content with an intention to insult or humiliate anyone individually.
