Police vehicle mows down two in Nizamabad

Two persons were mowed down by a rash and reckless police vehicle at Varni mandal of Nizamabad district in the wee hours of Friday.

The vehicle belonged to the local CI, but the CI was not there in the vehicle at the time of the mishap.
The deceased have been identified as Desai (70) and Ramarao Patel (55), hailing from Nizambad. They were waiting for the bus for Hyderabad.
The driver of the vehicle lost control and rammed into them at a blind road bend. Both the injured have died on way to the police.
The police reached the spot and took the driver into their custody.
