Police Unravel Kushbu’s Kidnap Mystery

Hyderabad: The Shamshabad police have successfully solved the kidnap mystery of an air passenger, Kushbu, here on Saturday.

Kushbu was reported to have been kidnapped by unknown persons, her husband Abhinav Kumar told airport security. However, after a review of the CCTV footage the airport security and local police officials concluded that she boarded a cab and left the airport on her own.

The couple, Kushbu and Abhinav, came to Hyderabad from Dubai and were scheduled to travel to Kolkata. As they found some free time before boarding the next plane, they went for shopping and she went missing at that time, Abhinav said. Police have concluded that Kushbu willingly went away from her husband and no one kidnapped her. Police suspect that she might have left due to misunderstandings with her husband and his family.
