Police obstructing devotees at Khairatabad

The huge idol of Lord Ganesh at Khairatabad draws devotees from within and outside city.

Today being the last day, there's a huge rush of people as always. However, police personnel who have been deployed as a part of security protocol are reportedly playing spoilsport. The devotees who have thronged the place to catch a glimpse of Lord Ganesha before it is immersed are complaining that the police aren't giving them a chance to do so. The police, on their part, claim that they are only doing their duty — keeping the law and order in the city under control.
