Police move in to arrest TDP MLA

The police have set in place all measures to take in to custody a TDP MLA allegedly accused in the murder of a Congress leader.

The police last month had booked TDP MLA Yarapathineni Srinivasa Rao in the murder case of Congress leader Unnam Narendra who was brutally killed at Piduguralla in Guntur District. Family members of the victim lodged a complaint and the the MLA was booked as the main accused in the case. As the word spread that the police were coming to arrest him, he went underground, sources said

It is said that Narendra was a close aide of MLA Srinivasa Rao and quit the party over some differences.
