Police arrests extremist during vehicle checking in Warangal

Warangal:  Mahabubabad police arrested one CPUSI extremist during the vehicle checking on Friday.

Speaking reporters Ambarkishore Jha SP (rural) stated that the extremist identified as Jannu Koti alias Ravi who went absconding from December 4 was involved in firing incident in Etigadda Thanda. Mahabubabad DySP Nagaraju and circle inspector Nandiram Naik took him into custody during vehicle checking at Narsampet road and seized one gun as well as one 8 mm live round from him. Arrested Koti and his gang threatened Thenali contractors in Maripeda mandal and extorted Rs 5 lakh from them, the SP stated. Mahabubabad police also seized eight gelatin sticks and electronic detonators in continuation of their investigation. The CPUSI extremist Siraboina Krishna Murthy, who is in police custody, has confessed to the crime during the interrogation.
