Police arrest TDP leaders at Secretariat - Sakshi Post


The police held some Telugu Desam Party leaders when they tried to lay siege to the Secretariat today.

The TDP leaders staged a protest at Indira park demanding that the government should convene an all-party meeting on acute power shortage in the state. The leaders set a deadline till afternoon. However, when there was a no signal from the government in the afternoon, the TDP leaders Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Ashok Gajapathi Raju and Mothkupally Narasimhulu along with other leaders rushed towards the secretariat.
Police took them into custody when they attempted lay a siege to the Secretariat.
Similar protests were witnessed throughout the state.
