'Polavaram project is the heart of AP'
Andhra Pradesh Minister for Irrigation Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao asked the TRS leaders not to politicize the issuance of ordinance on Polavaram project.
Speaking to reporters in Visakhapatnam on Friday, he described Polavaram project as the heart of Andhra Pradesh.
He said some leaders are talking on Polavaram project only to get some political mileage.
“We are planning to complete the project within four years,” said the minister.
He informed that the only aim of their government is to complete all the pending projects in the state. “I will supervise the works of Pulichintala Project on June 15,” said the minister.
“Our government is committed for the development of backward districts in the state,” said Devineni.
