'Polavaram bill unconstitutional'
TRS MP Vinod termed the Polavaram Bill as unconstitutional.
Speaking to reporters in New Delhi on Friday, he said that they were opposing the bill meant to amend AP Reorganisation Act 2014.
“Bringing the ordinance after the AP Reorganisation Bill 2014 was passed in both the houses of Parliament is wrong and unconstitutional,” said the MP.
Vinod said that the centre should have taken the opinions of both the assemblies of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on changing the borders as per Article 3. “The Union government violated the rule,” said the MP.
He also demanded a discussion on the bill in the Parliament.
