PM upset with party men

Comments by BJP party men on the Dadri incident and consumption of beef has upset Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the party president Amit Shah said.

The comments have brought disrepute to the prime minister and the party, he said while chiding the party men at his office. He summoned Harayana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar, MP Sakshi Maharaj, Union Minister Mahesh Sharma, and Uttar Pradesh MLA Sangeet Som to his office on Sunday.

These leaders are on record for making controversial statements on the Dadri incident and also on the sale and consumption of beef in various parts of the country. The opposition parties and social organizations have strongly condemned the remarks by the BJP leaders.
