YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was moved by the plight of an elderly woman during the Praja Sankalpa Yatra, on Monday.

Anantapur: YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was moved by the plight of an elderly woman during the 38th day of the Praja Sankalpa Yatra, on Monday.

The Leader of the Opposition interacted with farmers and proceeded to continue the yatra, when he spotted an old woman lying in a hapless condition on the wayside. He enquired about her health condition and immediately directed YSRCP constituency coordinator K Venkatarami Reddy to shift her to a hospital. He also instructed the party cadre to ensure that the old woman is admitted to an old age home in Dharmavaram. The YSRCP actions won instant appreciation from the local people.

YS Jagan To Meet Bukkapatnam Farmers On Tuesday

YSRCP chief YS Jagan is scheduled to meet farmers of Bukkapatnam, on Tuesday, as part of the Praja Sankalpa Yatra. The meeting will be held at 10 am in Marala village, according to YSRCP office-bearers Nagi Reddy, Tarimella Sharatchandra Reddy and Rajaram. The Leader of the Opposition will enquire about paddy cultivation in the area, farm loans, implementation of government schemes in the village and other issues faced by the farmers. District leaders of YSRCP called on the farming community to utilise the opportunity to interact directly with the party president and present their grievances.
