Kiran Kumar loses yet another trusted aide
In a major blow to former chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, one of the Vice presidents of the newly formed Jai Samaikyandhra Party (JSP) has decided to quit the latter.
After Sailajanath and MP A Sai Pratap, who reportedly will deflect to TDP, Pitani Satyanarayana is also following suit. (Kiran Kumar deserted by his supporters?)
Kiran had hoped that, no matter what, he would have the support of former minister Pitani, but the latter decided to ditch Kiran.
His supporters from Penugonda, Penumantra and Poduru mandals laid seige at Pitani's residence at Kommuchikkula village demanding him to change the party.
Later, he discussed with them and is believed to have decided to shift his loyalties.
In a related development, Amalapuram MP Harsha Kumar skipped Jai Samaikyandhra meeting. His absence at Kiran's meeting led to speculations that he too eyeing other parties.
