‘Pilot’ Sanjana Meets KCR To Thank Him For Supporting Her
Hyderabad: Telangana activist Sanjana who became pilot with the help of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao met her mentor on Sunday and thanked him for lending help in fulfilling her dream to become a pilot. She has recently completed her pilot training in the USA and she left for Delhi to convert her pilot license to Indian version.
Sanjana had participated in the Telangana movement and is fondly called as ‘Telangana Kokila’ and ‘Gulabi Bala as she campaigned for the movement raising slogans in KCR’s meetings
Sanjana hails from Kowdipally village in Medak district. Her father Omprakash works as a teacher while her mother Anita Omprakash is a local TRS leader. Sanjana had participated in the Telangana movement and is fondly called as ‘Telangana Kokila’ and ‘Gulabi Bala as she campaigned for the movement raising slogans in KCR's meetings.
When Sanjana expressed her desire to become a pilot in 2015, CM KCR granted Rs30 lakh for the training.
