Pigs eat away just-born in Nalgonda

Devarakonda: In a heart wrenching incident, a girl baby in was eaten away by pigs in Devarakonda mandal of Nalgonda on Monday.
It is said that the parents have thrown the baby in a sewer as it was a girl child. On noticing the dead baby in the drain, the locals alerted the police.
Selling of girl children in the tanda areas of the district have become a common, several such incidents have come to light in the last few years.
