Pic: Ganesh in a different avatar

Ganesh Chaturthi, which begins from September 9, is celebrated as the birthday of lord Ganesh who is widely worshipped as the god of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune. It is also believed that lord Ganesh bestows his presence on earth for all his devotees during the duration of this festival.

"We have seen unique Ganesha idols in different forms like that of Lord Rama, Lord Krishna and Chattrapati Shivaji. But this form is completely different as Vinayaka is in airplane," said one of the devotees.
