Phone Conversation Between Vanitha, Telugu Actor Vijay’s Father Leaked 

Hyderabad: A day after comedian Vijay committed suicide, a phone conversation between his wife Vanitha and his father came out in the open. According to the phone conversation that has been leaked to the media Vanitha was advised to keep her daughter away from Vijay.

Vijay ended his life by hanging himself to a ceiling fan at his flat in Yousufguda area of Hyderabad on Monday morning. While several theories are doing rounds over the actor's death, the conversation between Vanitha and Vijay's father suggest that Vanitha was told to maintain distance from the actor to make him understand the reality.

In the audio clip of the phone conversation, Vijay's father asks Vanitha to change her number and insisted that she not share her mobile number with Vijay. Vanitha is heard saying: I did not give my number to Vijay but he would frequently call up my friends in the industry asking details about me and my contact number."

She further says that Vijay used to call her frequently asking her to meet. If she denied, he would threaten to visit the shooting location. Following separation, the court announced that Vijay can meet his daughter Kundana once a week.

On Tuesday, the police would conduct postmortem of Vijay's body at Osmania General Hospital. Further details are awaited.
