Petrol tanker operators strike postponed - Sakshi Post


The proposed strike of oil tanker operators from February 21 on VAT has been postponed following the talks with Minister Sridhar Babu on Tuesday.

The oil tanker operators put off their strike for the time being following the request of the minister to postpone it to after March 15. He assured that there a clarity may be arrived on the VAT issue by that time. The State Petroleum dealers cum Tank Truck Operators Association (APPDTTO) announced a decision to this effect.
