Pet dog owner held in Hyderabad

A man was arrested after his pet dog attacked his neighbour and injured grievously in Kushaiguda police station limits on Thursday.

Police said Sripada Rao, a resident of Sainikpuri colony has two pet dogs and he used to take them out in the morning. One of the dogs pounced on Vinod Kumar, ex-serviceman living in the same colony when he was going for morning walk. On a complaint, the police registered case against Sripada Rao under Section 299 of IPC and arrested him. He was remanded to judicial custody.
