‘People didn't vote for KCR’

The war of words between the leaders of Congress and TRS are continuing on the issue of merging TRS into Congress.

Speaking to reporters in Delhi on Tuesday, Minister for Information D.K.Aruna said that it was not proper for TRS chief K.Chandrasekhara Rao to impose conditions for merging now.

“KCR chief, himself, said that he will ready for merge if the state of Telangana is given”, reminded Aruna.

“AICC president Sonia Gandhi tried to pass the bill in Parliament some difficult situations”, said the minister.

Aruna said that the people had voted for separatism only, but not to KCR.

“Andhra Pradesh Incharge of Congress Affairs Digvijay Singh told me that elections will be held as per the schedule only”, said the minister.

She said that they would support any one as the chief minister whom the party decided.

The ministers from Telangana region today met Digivjay Singh.
