Pendurthi MLA aides refuse to pay toll


Tension prevailed at the toll gate of Sheelanagar in Vishakhapattanam when the tollgate staff were beaten up by the aides of the Pendurthi MLA.

According to reports, over 15 members claiming to be aides of MLA Ramesh Babu roughed up the tollgate staff when their cars were stopped for toll fee.

The witness said that there was a verbal clash between the tollgate staff and the MLA's aides when the latter denied paying toll charge. Irked by the tollgate staff repeatedly asking them to pay the toll charge, they beat them black and blue. Police rushed to the spot and began investigating the incident.
