Peddireddy to resign from Assembly

Former minister and Congress MLA from Chittoor District, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy on Wednesday said he will resign from the Assembly on Thursday to keep up his promise that if "the CM was not moved out he would quit as MLA".
A few weeks ago Peddireddy who hails from the home district (Chitoor) of Kiran Kumar Reddy, gave an ultimatum to the party to replace Kiran by end of November.
However, with no indication of a leadership change as of now, Peddireddi said he would go ahead and resign as MLA.
