Peddapuram Congress MLA Gandhi Mohan arrested

The Police on Wednesday arrested sitting Congress MLA from Peddapuram on charges of attacking Samalkot ZPTC member Satti Babu's residence. He was arrested at a check-post between Kakinada and Samalkot in East Godavari.

Gandhi Mohan is an accused in a case of attack on Samalkot ZPTC in 2012. He did not attend the trial of the case and the court had issued an non-bailable arrest warrant against the MLA.
