Pawan’s Agnathavasi Copied? Trivikram Film in Controversy

The news is doing the rounds that Maatala Maantrikudu Trivikram has taken a revenge thread from Venkatesh’s film Ontari Poratam - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Power Star Pawan Kalyan's much talked about 25th film has been generating a buzz for one reason or the other. The film tentatively titled Agnathavasi is now embroiled in a fresh controversy. If a report doing the rounds is to be believed, the plot of the movie has been heavily inspired by Venkatesh's film Ontari Poratam. All fingers are being pointed at Maatala Maantrikudu Trivikram who seems to have been inspired by the movie with respect to the revenge angle.

The film, directed by Raghavendra Rao, shows actress Jayasudha avenging enemies with the help of Venkatesh. Now, it is speculated that Trivikram followed the same suit and replicated the revenge thread wherein actress Khusboo would seek her revenge with PK's help. And hence the film is titled Agnathavasi.

Meanwhile, Trivikram being dubbed copycat is not new. Earlier too, reports had surfaced that the director's A Aa story was from the novel Meena for which he did not give any due credit. The Mahesh babu hit Athadu too was compared to Venkatesh’s film Vaarasudochadu.
