Pawan Thanks Congress Chief Through Twitter
Guntur: Actor-turned-politician and Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan on Sunday reiterated that he would extend support to political parties that are willing to fight for special status tag for Andhra Pradesh.
Taking to his twitter handle, Pawan thanked APCC chief N Raghuveera Reddy for conducting 'Prathyekahodha Bharosa Sabha' (special status assurance meeting) in Guntur on a grand scale.
Pawan said that he could not attend the meeting due to short notice. He further called upon all the political parties in the state to come under one platform to fight for special status that was assured by the Central government. It may be recalled that the Congress leadership had sent an invitation to Pawan Kalyan to attend the meeting, at the Andhra Muslim College in Guntur.
Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi along with former UP chief minister and Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav, Janata Dal United leader Sharad Yadav along with CPI national general secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy and CPI national secretary and MP D. Raja attended the meeting.
