Pawan Kalyan to star in remake of Ajith’s Vedalam
Hyderabad: Actor Pawan Kalyan's yet-untitled next Telugu project was launched here on Tuesday on the auspicious day of Dussehra. The film will be the remake of Tamil film "Vedalam".
Vedalam, which featured Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar, was one of the biggest hits of last year.
Interestingly, Pawan Kalyan’s next two films are remakes of Tamil hits.
His upcoming Telugu actioner "Katamarayuda" is the official remake of Ajith-starrer "Veeram". The new project, which will be helmed by R.T. Neason, will be the remake of "Vedalam".
The 44-year-old Pawan Kalyan’s latest Telugu release Sardaar Gabbar Singh, though opened to a mixed review, ran successfully in cinemas.
