Vizag: Tollywood Power Star and Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday issued an ultimatum to the Centre threatening to withdraw support to the BJP if the ruling party goes ahead with the privatisation of Dredging Corporation of India (DCI).

Addressing the agitating employees of DCI, Pawan Kalyan said he has written to the Prime Minister's Office urging Narendra Modi to withdraw his plans to privatize the corporation which is running in profits. "What is the point in supporting a government which is not able to or willing to resolve a problem that affects so many families?" he asked. Pawan also stated that he had nothing against Narendra Modi or his policies except a few differences over GST.

"I never hesitate to speak out my mind even if it is critical of the policies of the BJP government at the Centre or TDP government in the state," he declared.

Pawan sent a letter to the PMO demanding withdrawal of the plans to privatize DCI. He said he won't support any party that won't resolve people's problems. He consoled the family of Venkatesh, an employee of DCI who died during the agitation against privatisation of the company.
