Pawan Kalyan to register his party
Film hero Pawan Kalyan, who has been keeping a low profile post general elections, is planning to expand his party.
He has submitted an application to Election Commission of India (ECI) to register his Jana Sena as a political party. Now, ECI is studying the plea.
Pawan Kalyan had launched Jana Sena Party on March 11 this year at a public meeting held at Hitex in Hyderabad.
In his application to ECI, Pawan Kalyan named himself as the chairman, B.Raju as the general secretary and M.Raghavaiah as the treasurer of the party.
As per his application, his party office will be located at Plot No.91, Second Floor, Banjara Hills in Hyderabad.
The ECI issued a press statement on Friday asking the public to file objections, if any, on the application submitted by Pawan Kalyan.
