Pawan Kalyan, TDP responsible for my death

Vijayawada: A farmer in Andhra Pradesh climbed atop CM Chandrababu Naidu’s cut out in Vijayawada’s PWD grounds, threatening to jump off it on Monday. The man was identified as Govindraju, a farmer from Attekalla village in Kurnool district.

In a letter he left behind before climbing up the cut out, he mentioned that he is taking this step as the TDP government has not fulfilled any of the promises that it made before the elections.

In the letter, he also said that he has participated in TDP’s election campaign before the elections in 2014 though he was not a follower of the party. “I have supported the party as my favourite film hero Pawan Kalyan was supporting the party”, the farmer wrote in his letter.
“I hold Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu Naidu responsible for my death”, he added in the letter.

However, the police were successful in counseling Govindaraju and making him climb down saying that the Chief Minister would meet him personally. The police have taken him into custody after he climbed down.
