Patanjali Food Parks To Come Up In Andhra Pradesh Soon
Hyderabad: Baba Ramdev's Patanajali Group is planning to set up two mega food parks in Andhra Pradesh, one in North coastal and the other in Nellore.
Apart from the two mega food parks, for the next three years the group has also proposed to set up 66 food processing units in the state
Andhra Pradesh Food Processing Society CEO Y S Prasad said that he hope that the two mega parks would not only bring in investment of about Rs 700 crore but would also generate jobs.

The Patanjali group has approached the state government to allot 200 acres for establishing in the north coastal and the land will be scouted by Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, while it bought 150 acres in Nellore district.
The state government has not only extended benefits under central government assisted schemes for processing units, but the government has also offered Rs 50 crore incentives to mega food parks.
Meanwhile, with an investment of Rs 400 crore by Jain Irrigation Systems Limited a major food park will come into existence in Kurnool district which will be inaugurated by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu next month.
