Patanjali Food Park May Come Up In Nizamabad
Hyderabad: Patanjali CEO Acharya Balkrishna visited Nizamabad district on Tuesday to explore the possibility of setting up a food processing unit.
Balkrishna, who visited Lakkampally village near Nandipet in the Food Processing SEZ in the district, said,"We have surveyed the surrounding areas of Armoor, Balkonda and Nandipet and we feel the atmosphere in the region is very conducive to start a plant."

Armoor and Balkonda areas have turmeric cultivation over about two lakh acres and contribute a huge chunk to the total production of the yellow spice in India.

Kavitha said in a release that the state's industrial policy facilitates approvals for industry in only 15 days, and food processing plant in the region will generate employment for a large number of people.
