Passengers Stranded At Shamshabad Airport As Agent Fails To Get Visas
Hyderabad: A group of 56 passengers were left stranded at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) on Tuesday after their travel agent failed to arrange visas for nearly 24 members. The group was supposed to fly to Dubai on an Emirates flight.
A flier said that they were informed by the agency representatives that visas would be delivered once they reach at RGIA, but they were not given as assured.
“We were planning to register an FIR but the New Delhi based agent spoke to the police and assured that we will be given our visas on Wednesday and our travel will be arranged,” said P Purushotham, a flier.
Reportedly, passengers paid Rs. 58,000 per head to the agency to make arrangements.
