Passengers robbed in four trains on Monday

Passengers were robbed in three express trains in Prakasam district on Monday morning.

The robberies took place in Seshadri, Simhadri, Simhapuri and Yesvantpur express trains near Singarayakonda between 2 am and 5 am on Monday morning in the district.

The robbers could do their work when these trains were moving very slowly due to the track repairing works in the area.

After that, they fled the scene with money and jewellery. The robbers also tried to rob the passengers in some other trains at the same place.

Railway police took the complaint and are investigating the matter.
