Panchayat polls: TDP, BJP, Congress caught bribing voters

Ananthapuram: Police caught red handed TDP's supporters distributing money at Vengalammacheruvu of Puttaparthi mandal.

Venkatarami Reddy, Chandrasekhar, Adepppa, Narayana and others were caught distributing money.

Puttaparthi Rural SI Nagesh Babu said that they recovered Rs 38, 520 cash from them.
Meanwhile, Congress leader Dora Swamy and his supporters Kiran Kumar Reddy and Ravi were caught red handed distributing saris to women at Gandodivaripalli.
The police seized 82 saris from them.

Police detained TDP Mandal convener Shankar Naidu when he tried to distribute money to the voters. Police arrested Shankar and his supporters Naga Raju and Ramesh and seized Rs. 31, 000 from them.

Ranga Reddy district: Police resorted to lathicharge when there was a rift between YSRCP supporters and BJP supporters.

YSRCP activists obstructed the BJP men when they were distributing silver rings and liquor bottles at Munirabad on Monday night. Police resorted to mild lathicharge when the situation went out of control.
