Painter attempts suicide in police station

A painter, who was taken into custody for drinking alcohol on the road, tried to commit suicide at Chadergat police station.

However, the police rushed him to a nearby hospital and his condition is said to be critical.
A case of attempt to suicide has been registered. The police had brought the painter to the station to question him on why he was having alcohol on the road. The depressed painter allegedly tried to commit suicide by hanging himself at the police station.
Police are yet to reveal full details.
