OU Research Scholar Dies of Cardiac Arrest

Hyderabad: A research scholar of Osmania University died of cardiac arrest late on Thursday night.

The deceased, Sirikonda Srikanth (33), was a Basic Science Research Fellow of OU. He was a native of Gubbagurthi village in Wyra mandal of Khammam district. As per his routine, he completed his work in the University and was proceeding on his motorcycle towards his room in Amberpet.

However, as he reached the College of Engineering he suffered a heart attack and collapsed. Passersby rushed him to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. According to his friends in the campus, Srikanth was married about six months ago.
