OU boys attack petrol bunk

A day after they attacked Swagat Grand Hotel, which they claimed was an unauthorized construction on Osmania University lands, the students on Tuesday targeted a petrol bunk.

The OU students stormed to the petrol filling station and attacked it. However, alert police foiled their attempt. Several students were arrested. Meanwhile, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has warned the Telangana government of intensifying their agitation if the plan to gift away Osmania University lands in the name of housing the poor and the homeless.

On Monday, the ABVP workers staged a bare torso protest in front of the Arts College. The Telangana student unemployed Joint Action Committee too announced that it would organize a massive public meeting on June 1 and would boycott the Telangana formation day if KCR decides to give away OU lands.
