Osmania University Teachers Protest Over Delay In Salary
Hyderabad: In protest against the inordinate day in payment of salaries, the OUTA (Osmania University Teachers Association) boycotted work on Monday. The teaching took out a rally from Arts College to administrative building where they staged a dharna.

OUTA president Prof. Battu Satyanarayana said administration has been delaying salaries from past few months. “After protests for the release of Rs 58 crore grant, government released Rs 25 crore. Balance must be released immediately,” he added.
OUTA in a statement said “Such a drastic situation has never occurred in the history of Osmania University. We will continue the agitation until it is solved.”
